How we process your information when you visit this website or request a move.
The controller is SAX Logistik GmbH, Diebrocker Straße 315, 32051 Herford, Germany, represented by managing director Ertan Ayyildiz. Contact: info@sax-international.de, +49 5206 9600035.
The server processes connection information such as IP address, request time, requested file, browser information and status messages to deliver and protect the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in secure operation. Hosting and email providers may act as processors. Technical logs are retained only as necessary for operation, diagnosis and security, or until a specific incident has been resolved.
Volume and price estimates run in your browser. Submitting a form transfers your name, email address and the move details you enter to our server, which forwards the enquiry to us by email. Telephone details are optional. We process the information to answer you and prepare a possible contract under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Required fields are needed to handle the form. The calculator does not create a booking or make a legally binding automated decision.
A form token, a hidden check field and a keyed hash derived from the IP address limit automated requests. The counter expires within one hour. Processing relies on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and our interest in protecting the enquiry service. No external CAPTCHA service is loaded.
We process email, telephone and message information for contractual enquiries under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, or to answer other communications under Article 6(1)(f). Relevant recipients may include authorised staff, hosting and email providers, transport partners, tax advisers and competent authorities. For a specific move outside the EEA, necessary details may be transferred to local partners or authorities under the applicable international-transfer rules. Where no adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards apply, an individually necessary contractual transfer may rely on Article 49(1)(b) or (c) GDPR. We explain further requirements during planning.
WhatsApp is an ordinary external link: opening it takes you to the service operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, whose own privacy information applies, including possible processing outside the EU. You can contact us by email or telephone instead. The public theme functions set no analytics or advertising cookies. Checklists and calculators use temporary page memory. WordPress sign-in may use necessary session cookies. Necessary device access falls under section 25(2) TDDDG. Additional tracking services are not part of these functions.
Enquiries are deleted when completed and no further purpose remains. Contract and accounting records are retained for applicable statutory periods under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR; records needed for a concrete legal claim may be kept under Article 6(1)(f). Subject to the legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw any consent for the future. Contact us using the details above. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the data protection authority of North Rhine-Westphalia. These website functions do not carry out automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
