SAX INTERNATIONAL / LEGAL
Terms
Conditions for quotations and agreed moving services provided by SAX International.
1. Contracting party
The contracting party is SAX Logistik GmbH, Diebrocker Straße 315, 32051 Herford, Germany. These terms apply only when validly incorporated into the contract. Individual agreements and mandatory law take precedence. Publishing terms on a website does not by itself incorporate them into a contract.
2. Enquiry and agreed scope
Submitting a form or using a calculator creates an enquiry, not a moving contract. The individual quotation identifies the route, period, services and price; acceptance is governed by that quotation. Changes are agreed and recorded. Transport, packing, materials, dismantling, assembly and storage are included only as agreed. Electrical, gas, plumbing and other specialist work requires an express agreement. Customs responsibilities and documents are clarified for the particular international move.
3. Preparation
Please provide accurate information about goods, floors, lifts, access and walking distances, and notify us of changes. Access and handover must be possible as agreed. Declare valuables, documents, hazardous, exceptionally heavy or fragile goods beforehand. Additional charges require an agreement or a legal basis.
4. Prices and payment
The individual quotation governs the price. Rates of €180–250/m³ for Turkey and from €300/m³ for Northern Cyprus are non-binding guidance for collections in Germany. Northern Cyprus generally has a minimum volume of 20 m³. Destination, access and services affect the total. Consumer quotations state the total payable including any applicable VAT. Foreseeable additional costs are disclosed before the order. Payment timing and method follow the individual agreement.
5. Timing, changes and liability
Binding dates are recorded in the order. We notify you of obstacles and agree the next steps; statutory delay remedies remain unaffected. Amendments and cancellation follow the contract and applicable law, without a flat cancellation charge imposed here. Statutory liability rules apply, including the relevant German Commercial Code provisions for removals and any mandatory international rules. These website terms do not alter statutory limits, notification requirements or protected rights. Please notify damage promptly; any required transport-specific information is supplied with the order.
6. Consumer rights
Withdrawal rights depend on the applicable legal conditions. A goods transport contract for a specified date or period may fall under section 312g(2)(9) German Civil Code; other services require separate assessment. Where a statutory withdrawal right exists, the required information is supplied. These terms do not create a special jurisdiction agreement or remove mandatory consumer protections.
